We are happy to announce our 2013 Christmas program, which is aimed to assist ten Redlands High School students with their various needs. The Guardian Foundation has set up the “Student Assistance Program,” where we work directly with High School counselors in assessing students that are in danger of not completing High School, and/or have other compelling needs. It is with much sorrow that we pronounce the passing away of Sidney Hamilton, who would have turned 22 years old today, October 9. The Guardian Foundation met Sidney in 2008, when we learned that he was experiencing the ravages of the AIDS virus that he unfortunately was born with. Sidney was abandoned until he was two years old, then his great aunt took him into her home to love and care for him. The Guardian Foundation is pleased to announce our 2013 Student Assistance Program (SAP), which is being launched through Redlands High School (RHS). Our SAP program will provide assistance to students in immediate need for school supplies, school fees, transportation help, such as bus passes, as well as any other type of assistance that will help students complete a successful High School education and experience. Fulfill a Child’s Wish 2011 A Success!

The Guardian Foundation provided Christmas gifts to 84 children through our annual “Fulfill a Child’s Wish 2011” project. Fifty of the most neediest children from Franklin Elementary school in Redlands were hand-selected by their teachers as being in dire need. These kids are either homeless or living well below the poverty level. Furthermore, a Redlands boys group home, Riverstones, which consists of two houses, received gifts. The Guardian Foundation presents our 4th Annual “Fulfill a Child’s Wish!” “Be a Gift-Giver and fulfill the Christmas dreams of kids in need of joy and cheer!” The Guardian Foundation is looking to sponsor 50 kids from Franklin Elementary School in Redlands with new toys and clothes.  In addition, we will be sponsoring 12 young men from River Stones Residential Inc. in Redlands.
