Fulfill a Child’s Wish 2011 A Success!

The Guardian Foundation provided Christmas gifts to 84 children through our annual “Fulfill a Child’s Wish 2011″ project. Fifty of the most neediest children from Franklin Elementary school in Redlands were hand-selected by their teachers as being in dire need. These kids are either homeless or living well below the poverty level. Furthermore, a Redlands boys group home, Riverstones, which consists of two houses, received gifts. Wishes came true for more than 50 kids from group homes at the Guardian Foundation’s recent holiday party at the Burrage Mansion. The foundation encourages the children, from age 4 to 19, to write an “ultimate gift” wish list, then matches each child to a sponsor from the Redlands community.
